I'm a mom of two wonderful boys and a wife to a loving husband. I enjoy spending as much time as possible in the kitchen creating healthy, tasty, savory, and sweet meals and treats. I’ve struggled a great deal with my health, especially in my 20s. I’ve had MANY heart procedures, a pacemaker implanted, and struggle with stomach issues. my health issues resulted in lots of weight fluctuations. I never have been officially over weight, but I do push an uncomfortable weight for myself which encouraged me to get more healthy and explore different diets. I personally don't eat meat, but I do cook it for my family. I've also recently given up flours, grains, sugars, and high carbohydrate foods. This new diet has given me even more of a reason to be in the kitchen to try and create great healthy substitutes to our not-so-healthy favorites. I hope you enjoy!
